I watched this last night...not bad.

Last night was based on multiple fires around Gosford. They detailed the incident control room, an elderly person in his home, relatives of that elderly person traveling home, plane pilot of bomber that crashed & died, pilot's wife, some fire crews and sector captain. Good emphasis that for volunteers and paid any event is dangerous.

Next week is coverage of a chemical factory fire.

They tried to get drama & suspense in, but you could see that the officers, crew at a house & road block crew were setup after the event (all clean & pressed uniforms, no panic or stress). Not everyone can be actors.

Good use of news footage of the actual event amongst the setup takes.

It made for rather funny viewing, made *great* use of reenactments.

A little bit groan-worthy sometimes, but such is life with television these days.
To think they employed me as a drooling retard...

Heres a link for the quality of it. Me riding down the Portie's esplanade, It's normally not so blocky, but it gives you a rough idea of quality. You Tube changes the format when you upload videos, creating those bigger blocks across the video :( Excuse the audio as it was just wind noise and noise coming from the bike. Its not usually that bad.

At the moment the seller doesn't have any for sale but this is his link, i'm sure if you messaged him he would have more to sell.

Yeah it took me a while to make my clip up. I was looking at ordering one off the site, But I persevered. The hardest part was getting it to face on the right angle (eye level) not sure if you will have that trouble with that clip thats the only variable not adjustable. You can swivel it left to right and fully rotate as well.

Still waiting to use mine at a job yet! Theres some good videos on you tube and the firecam site as well.

I bought a 2gb SD stick of ebay for 20 and picked up a charger and batteries for 35 from Dicksmiths :)

All up it cost me 210Aud to set up.

Happy filming :D

I ordered one last night thru E-Bay for $185 AU with all the bits and pieces and are really looking forward to it turning up!
I checked out Jono's link and was impressed, and it gave me ideas for use in the scrub car.

Should be good!! :-D

Selective reading...  -  Its good for avoiding half the B/S.. - Sometimes you miss a little bit of the 'good stuff' though..
