that rear tray design looks almost identical to our 34p(from the photo's) & that was built by SEM at Ballarat.

Mills Tui build very good vehicles!!

They have been operating in Queensland, just out of Brisbane for a few years now with their HQ still in NZ.

I have seen a lot of their Aussie manufactured buses and coaches in my travels of my previous work, and their work is pretty good.

Mills Tui have built the majority of fire appliances used by our paid brothers over the years....especially the ACCO(Australian Constructed Cab Over) if you didnt know where the term came from.

The peanut, or groundnut (Arachis hypogaea) is a species in the legume family Fabaceae native to South America. It is an annual herbaceous plant growing to 30 to 50 cm (1 to 1½ feet) tall. The leaves are opposite, pinnate with four leaflets (two opposite pairs; no terminal leaflet), each leaflet 1 to 7 cm (⅜ to 2¾ in) long and 1 to 3 cm (⅜ to 1 inch) broad. The flowers are a typical peaflower in shape, 2 to 4 cm (¾ to 1½ in) across, yellow with reddish veining. The old saying you get what you pay for....

the cfs put out a tender for the 34P and various truck builders put quotes in...

to be competitive the price has to be pretty cheap so sometimes quality parts are replaced with lesser quality etc.

In the end you probaly spend the same fixing the damn thing up. but not in all cases

Yes that's what i meant, but CFS don't just go for the cheapest bid they then spend months screwing the builders down in price and asking if cheaper parts can be used.
