Not everyone knows that the Bronto can't drive on dirt roads or dirt driveways...
from my understanding the request for the bronto came from someone that did not have an accurate sitrep and was not on scene.
I believe the request was made by the IC, soon after arrival...
anyway; if you can do a ladder derrick safely and effectively with the crew and equipment on scene, why call for more resources?
The Bronto was requested very early on in the incident - well before the SES had arrived (or we even knew they'd been responded). If you're suggesting 205 should not have been responded, this is not true, using 205 as a high redirection would have been ideal.
