Also, how many GRN radios (not portable) came 'standard' with the logistics vehicle. Was there 2 like in command vehicles or only 1???

which of these new batch of logistics vehicles came with 2 portables? (are you talking GRN or VHF portables?)

Zippy

Onkaparinga Logistics "Car 2" has two mobile GRN's and 1 Portable i believe.  Deputy Group Officer uses it.

P P Snake

yeah and thats about all that uses it, bit like a private car for him :-o

On the topic of logistics vehicles, I came accross "State Logistics 3" which is a CFS POD carrier complete with emergency beacons and LED's. Also sitting inside the store room was 2 POD's one open tray (fitted) and one pantech.

Guessing that this vehicle is reasonably new, just a pity I didn't have my camera with me.

Pipster

Have a look at the State Training Centre page on the CFS Promo website for the pic.....   :-D   (Type in "state" in the fire station name on the menu & follow the link)

There are three types of people in the world.  Those that watch things happen, those who make things happen, and those who wonder what happened.

Southern Yorke Group will receive their Logistics Vehicle this week.
It will replace Southern Yorke Car 3

info from region is the Onka one has a GRN portable cos their vehicle was a changeover so it came out of the old vehicle.  The other vehicles are not changeovers.  I know that Lofty and Strath vehicles did not come with any portables, so would still like to find which of this batch did come with 2 portables (or any) if you know Jeff....

Hmmm not if your 6,3 :-D

Waaaaaay to many buttons to play with for the siren/lights panel.
Do like the alert button which switches lights and siren on but to turn siren off you have to turn everything off and then choose one of many lights configurations. :-o
