when you timeout and get auto-logged out, it doesn't remember what posts you have seen so on next login shows all the ones you read before as "new" again.

also if I use the same browser window to read each thread from the "list of unread posts" window, then when I click the back button to go back to the "list of unread posts" window then it has lost the entire list and now thinks I've read them all.  Opening each thread in a new browser window stops this.

(IE6 by the way, I know it sucks but my company chose it not me).

When you login choose the login forever option if the PC you are using allows cookies you will not be logged out.

the other problem must be browser settings or cookie related as I do not see this behaviour at all on IE6 or Firefox 2.

Is it just me, or do the times seem to be out of whack sometimes on the posts? Is this a timezone thing?

Check your profile you should see a time offset setting. Try altering that.

I'd say more like stabbing yourself in the face with a chainsaw, but that's just me :P

Hi Guys

What about having a chat room that members can chat about different events and the good points can be open for forum topics later. Just an idea.
Negative is having few people join the chats.

stay safe guys

On the main intro page, can you put names underneath, or attach names to the photos that come up. Love seeing the photos, but sometimes would like to know, which station is that? or where was that incident.

Cheers

Is there a reason the forum clock is two and a half hours ahead of me?

It's not often I get confused about whether it's today, tomorrow, or yesterday, but this seems to be doing it for me!

Go to "Profile" (in the links at the top of the page).
Then click "Look and Layout Preferences" (On the menu to the left).
You can now change the "Time Offset" Value to be correct. Clicking auto detect will probably work...

Hope that helps...
