When you post an image link just click the insert image button with the link text selected and image tags will be added. This loads the image in the forum

This is the button you need, in the edit panel. :-)

Now Jono...lets not get our hopes up, it is only a very unsubstantiated rumor...I will only believe it when we have the truck sitting in our station with the keys...it will probably end up being the same as the whole Happy Valley 24P idea, Non-Existent!!

Catch ya round... *Pixie*

Just a note on the photos - it's terribly poor form to post photos without crediting the photographer when they are not your own...

How about give kudos where they are due?

The said photos were actually posted as links only. However the moderator(s) set them up to be viewed. (I know I posted one)

They definatly don't look anywhere near as fancy as what are in MFS Scania's but theres stacks of back seat room almost enough to stand up. (I've only had a look at it once up close a while ago so could be wrong :-))

If the links where clicked the photographer is not credited either.....???

Of course it is always good form to credit the photographer if possible. In this case I think the pics are from the SACFS promotions unit, and we do have an understanding with them to occasionally use a pic or two. :-)

Correct - most (if not all) have come from the CFS Promotions Unit.

However, they shoud be credited as such......       :-)

Bout a month ago maybe?

No brigade should be forced to take this unreliable appliance.  CFS just need to cut their losses and move on.  Its the safest thing to do.

No wonder its windscreen blew in the things a freakin brick, no aerodynamics all the wind pressure is going straight on that windscreen.

Its older than half the appliances getting taken out of service now, it certainly hasnt had reliable history, save the pump, scrap the rest.

Not quite Jasec.....it is a 1990 model.....so it makes it a fraction younger than the bulk of appliance being taken out of service.....

The bulk seem to be taken out of service around 18-20 years

I still see the first two, but not the third... You can see the third if you go to http://www.fire-brigade.asn.au/gallery/appliance/page4photos/ and click on "1-ss-Img_9249.jpg"...  (courtesy of the CFS Promotions unit...)

If all else fails, blame the terrorists. I agree with ryan, I don't think dennis spend much money on aerodynamics, if any. I reckon that truck is around purely because of bling value. It ain't good for much else in its current state.
